Working principle

Superficial DAF system, also known as circular shallow DAF system. It is the main treatment device in the water purification system. Mainly used to remove SS - suspended solids and reduce COD in wastewater. First of all, the depth of the tank is only 750-950mm. The influence from the balance tank is pumped into the circular DAF tank after coagulation and flocculation. The rotating system of the distributor, scum separator and collection tube is driven to rotate counterclockwise, while the influence is clockwise. In this way, the water velocity in the tank is relatively zero. The micro-bubbles produced by the Superficial DAF system mix the flocs and float to the surface. The tank depth is only 750-950mm, which can effectively separate liquids and solids. The scum is scraped by rotating skimmers into the central scum chute and falls into the sludge pond downstairs. Clean water is collected and flows into the clean water tank. The electric cabinet controls all the components, and it only takes 3-5 minutes to purify the waste water.

Advantage

Superficial DAF is cylindrical and compact, including flotation cell, rotating water distributor, dissolved air release system, rotating rack, water collecting device, skimmer, dissolved air system, return pipe, electric control cabinet, etc. The water outlets are installed in the rotating area, and the water distributor, water collecting device and dissolved air release system are closely connected with the frame and rotate around the center of the flotation cell. The unit uses a centralized and decentralized control system to provide modular integrated equipment assembly for optimal operation.
